Thailand Christening Ceremony at the Peninsula Bangkok

I was honored when my cousins Mark and Jenn, invited us over to the Peninsula Bangkok to celebrate their newborn in his christening ceremony and lunch. There was no flooding, no rain. Just the Thailand sunshine, friends and family from all over the world: Los Angeles, San Diego, New York, Detroit, Philippines and Singapore. I couldn't get enough of the beautiful venue, the ridiculously cute guest of honor, Franco and his awesome cake! Check it out:

From the hotel, we took the hotel ferry across the river, past the French Embassy and to the Assumption Cathedral.

Assumption Cathedral, while small and quaint, has been around since 1821.

Back at the hotel we were treated to a fabulous Sunday Thai lunch. Check out the awesome invites and  the matching cake!

* A very special thank you to Mark and Jenn, for being great hosts (again!) and letting me share and photograph Franco's baptism. This was my first attempt in photographing an event, and it was an honor to be a part of such as special day. I hope you enjoyed the photos as much as I did taking them.
